I have users with Blackberry’s and iPhones, both connecting to exchange server running on sbs2008.
The Blackberry’s are a disaster, (Pearl and Storm), yet the iPhones are very reliable, folder sync is good.

<a href="#comment-214" rel="nofollow">@Michael Leggett</a>
@MichaelLegget thanks for your post. I for one, having become a gmail-system customer when virgin swapped over to gmail, have recently discovered that it is *Very Worthwhile* to check my spam folders regularly. I have one email account that I use for my work emails, and found Useful Emails mistakenly placed into Spam folder without my knowledge or consent. Hence have I filtered All Mail to be Not Filtered Into Spam and instead be POP'ed into my outlook where I spam filter it myself. This means I control my emails; I had found no less than three important customer emails fallen into my Spam folder in the three week period before I activated these changes. Lesson - when someone changes your email system, don't take their advice at face value - check *all* your settings.

There is a Windows-based iPhone SDK called DragonFireSDK - search and check it out. You can write your first iPhone App in 15 minutes and test it in the Windows iPhone Simulator - then - download it to your iPhone using Windows iTunes! If you have questions, contact clint(at)zimusoft(dot)com he has helped users publish lots of apps to the app store that were developed in Windows using DragonFireSDK(dot)com

Hi there. I'm a designer on Gmail and saw a link to this post. Thought I'd clarify a few things.

- Your search shows items that are marked as Spam by Gmail and put in the Spam folder and will never show up anywhere else. So, users are complaining about the stuff in their Spam folder? I don't know anyone that uses Gmail and still checks their Spam folder. Are you seeing false positives?

- Mail in your spam folder is deleted as soon as it is 30 days old. You don't have to clean out this folder. Same applies to the trash.

- Filters that search on "is:spam" won't actually match anything on receipt. Filters are run before mail is classified (so it can do things like "Never send it to spam."

- You only want to filter to "Never send it to spam" that aren't spam. For instance, maybe you sell Vi*gra and you want to see what the competition is advertising. You want to get all the ads for vi*gra and therefore might set up a filter to never send mail that mentions vi*gra to spam, but instead put it in another label.

While it's not free, you might still consider Yippiemove (http://www.yippiemove.com). It's an online email migration tool similar to imapsync.
